The CM Fund ( in Andhra Pradesh ) is meant to help the poor people with their
- medical expenditure
- personal and property loss due to natural calamities.
The government has devised a scheme to help the people with their urgent medical needs with in 48 hours and other financial help with in 15 days. The CM fund can be applied by filling out an application and simply mailing it.
While this is meant for the poor people , they are not aware of such relief funds and very often struggle to get the right treatment at right time.
Apart from helping the poor with education , health , food , shelter , i think we also need to start focussing on creating awareness about the various provisions the government has in store for them. The CM Fund is just one of them.
