Call-A-Thon Summary (after Day IV)

Great going friends! Day IV of Call-A-Thon went really well with lot of people pitching in – not just from US, but also from India.

Here is a quick summary of our efforts thus far
1) MP’s from CPIM, Shiv Sena, Trinamol Congress, TDP saying no to RTI amendments – at least over the phone
2) MP’s from major political parties i.e. BJP and Congress, all are united in saying it’s party high command’s decision
3) Prominent MP’s from major political parties reacting rather angrily and may be even utter disbelief – how dare you call me, do I know you (attitude)?
4) MP’s responding via emails – some being very short in their response & some very elaborate

All in all – it’s a great effort team. Let’s continue the Call-A-Thon, for it’s just a few more days for this important decision. So let’s not rest until we make a dent.

Also, i’m trying to reach out to a few media contacts that i know of to spread the news about this initiative with the sole intention of creating awareness and hopefully in the process can have more people join us.

See you all tonight
