We the civilized world
On the other side of the border
See the world differently
Crime on one side is criminal
Crime on the other is Justice
Hospitals to treat on one side
Hospitals to bomb on the other side
Starve is to punish on one side
Starve is to teach a lesson on the other

Water to drink on one side
Water to shut off on the other
Killing innocents is war crimes on one side
Killing innocents is justified in the name of war
Because on the other side of the border
Lives the civilized world

To build a bomb is easy because we learnt from the two world wars

To build peace is hard because we refuse to learn from the two world wars

To destroy lives, to ravage homes, to be inhuman is because we have the technology

To build lives, to give hope, to be just human is hard, because we need humanity for this
